Expand All on Dispatch Screen
Why is there not an option to expand all on the dispatch grid? We dispatch a week out and every time we go into this screen, we have to expand each day individually.

Show Equipment/Trucks in Dispatch Grid
Through local services we can request number of men, even the type of labor and the type of moving equipment. However, the moving equipment doesn't appear in the dispatch grid. We may have a job requiring 3 men, and 3 tractors w/curtainsides but unless you do right click, you cannot see that information. Doesn't make sense that dispatching software doesn't show you how many trucks you have committed on a single day

Add the Sales Person, Surveyor, and Revenue Clerk to the Local Dispatch Grid.
Local Dispatch is a great place to see what orders happened in a set time period. It would be nice to be able to sort orders based on the Sales Person, Surveyor, and/or the Revenue Clerk for a certain time period.

Allow us to save custom views in the local dispatch grid
Once we have a complicated view with specific columns, groups, filters, sorts, etc., allow us to save it with a unique name so that we can have saved views for different purposes.

Show the commodity so we can see if it is a vehicle, household goods, O&I, etc.

Show leads in Local Dispatch
I would like to be able to show "Lead Source" (as shown on the name, address tab of Order Information) on the dispatch grid for Local Dispatch. Then, my dispatchers and mgt. are aware of the relationship for each move. Can you tell me if this is on the drawing board?

Leave the column that is selected highlighted in blue even while switching to a different window. Helps for referencing the order number
When you click on the job to view the details it highlights in blue so that you know which order you selected. Well when i switch windows to look up the order in HOD it goes away and i am stuck searching for the order. It would just make it so much easier if it would stay highlighted all the time that way the user could refernce the order info quickly until the user clicked on a different order

Auto refresh for Local Dispatch Schedule: we would like the local dispatch schedule to auto refresh data every 15 minutes or every 1/2 hour, if possible. The data should also refresh when you change the date range.

Add Information button next to the bases on the Military/Government Tab
The fields that have the “…” buttons shown next to them, why are those not a click-able button in the view? The user must click “edit” in order to click the button and see what information lives behind it (such as contact information). A specific example that I am referring to lives on the “Military/Government” tab in Order Information. If we tie contact information to a base, the user is unable to view the information unless they are in edit mode. Perhaps this needs an “information” button like the agents do on the “Agents” tab?

dispatch note
Add a confirmation box before deleting a Dispatch Day Note reminding the user they are deleting the ENTIRE Day Note. Many times a dispatcher has selected a portion of the Day Note and hit the Delete button and been surprised to find the entire note removed.

add Driver Assignment in Order Entry
I would like the ability to assign a driver from the Order Information module.
Once you book an order - you may know who the driver is already for the load. Instead of having to find the load in dispatch and then assign a driver, if you could assign from one of the tabs in Order Information (maybe billing tab since order personnel is there - or agents?) day notes
when you need to put a note in day notes so dispatch can see it you must already have an actual order on that date in order to see any day notes for that date. it would be nice if when you put a day note in on a day that doesn't have anything scheduled you can see that note on that day even if nothing scheduled.
31 votesCase MOV-5741 has been logged. We plan to default the date for the Day Note to what is set as the first date in the Service Date spread and populate the Day Note for that day.
The goal is to always show the Day Note no matter whether a service is selected, present, or no services display.

Change Local Dispatch and assignment of crew members
We would like the ability in local dispatch to know who is still available to schedule.
Currently in Local Dispatch when you assign a crew member to a job, and you select that job - the crew member will be orange in the grid. However, when you click on another job to assign more members those that were assigned to the job before look available again. For small jobs that works as you may double up jobs and crews.
We are just looking for the added option of a color code or a status report.

Dispatch Note On each job
Put a not Tab on the dispatch for Dispatchers Notes only Such as Driver needs to do 2 jobs drop trailer for another crew then go to his job then pick up trailer at the end of the day . Like the Day note but on each job for the day planing use only

Add the Hauling Docs Received field (which is on the Billing Information tab) to the Local Dispatch Grid.
Adding the hauling docs received field to the local dispatch grid would let the dispatcher know if paperwork has been received or not, withouth having to open the order.

Show Leads in Long Haul Dispatch
Allowing long haul dispatchers to view leads in the long haul dispatch module would be a great feature. This would allow dispatchers to request aggressive pricing for leads that fill well with upcoming trips and help us find fill for our drivers.

Dispatching Crew Call Sheet
This report should include employees not yet assigned to any job. This would help for last minute changes! Particularly when a crew member calls off, it would help to know who is available immediately from this list. Also last minute Jobs coming into dispatch. Important!!!
