Changes to the Driver Advances functionality
1.Have the ability to see by order in one spot:
Total Linehaul
Guideline Percentage (should be variable by agent)
Amount Already Advanced
Ability to turn off the concept of "trip". Dispatch and advance by order.
When changes or cancellations occur on a trip, the advance amount is not consistently applied.

Iin Long Distance Dispatch, when the user right clicks on an order, give an option to go directly to the ADD advance screen and have it be based on that order. Saves a couple of clicks. (The right click option could say Add Advance Based On This Order.)

If you do enhance the advances...it would also be nice for the system to automatically do the advance processing every 15 minutes. I'm having trouble with one agency hitting the generate button and then another agency coming in a couple of minutes later (not enough time for the file to process thru t-chek) and generating again...which blows up. It would be nice to either have an auto generate every 15 minutes...or add a date/time field so you can tell when the last time processing was done and the agencies would know to wait 10 minutes before they process again.

The broader interpretation would be ideal. Have the ability in admin to disable the trip concept in dispatch for those agents who dispatch by order. Then advancing would take care of itself.

Just to make sure I'm clear on #2 in your post...you are wanted us to add the ability in admin to disable advancing by trip (not allow advances at the trip level)? Or more broadly turn off the concept of a trip in Dispatch all together?
