Required Fields based on Authority
I would like Authority to be added as a category in addition to shipment type for the field requirements. This would help in distinguishing between local and interstate requirements. Also if you are able to add this I would like the registration date on the agents tab added as a required field.
I am trying to avoid manually keying required fields that would otherwise automatically download from the van line.

With date dependent tasks, add an option to not include weekends on a task by task basis
One of our MS tasks is a 72 hour call. When we have a shipment packing and/or loading beginning on a Monday, the 72 hr call comes up on the Friday before. While that is technically 72 hrs, the Friday before is when we make our ETA call. We should be making the 72 hr call the Wed. before. Right now we have to manually adj the 72 hr call task date if shipment starts on Monday. Brenda

See Preventative control put in place so that employees' time cannot entered into multiple work ticket for the same time frame
Currently, time can be entered into multiple work tickets for the same employee and same time frame, doubling up on labor.

Required Fields
We need an option on setup to apply only where we are booking agent. When we are the OA all fields we have created as mandatory for us apply upon first edit to other agents order. We do not have this information and cannot update for another agent.

NEed to be able to release multiple containers from a shipment at one time not have to release one container at a time.
When attaching containers to an order you can add multiple containers to an order at one time. But when releasing the containers you can only release on container at a time. There needs to be a way to release all the containers assigned to an order at one time.

A summary report that shows the total of vendor commission statements for a date range
A report that shows the total of finalized comm stmts for a date range entered, if this also had the 1099 total from GP it could be used at intervals to make sure the 1099 totals are correct. (The historical comm stmt pulls by doc date not finalized comm stmts and includes items not finalized)

Allow notes to be added to the Movers Suite commission statements so they can add a line about an escrow/reserve balance total etc...

Add an option to print a list of all orders for specific Account Profiles under Reports/Customer Service.

Add the additional space to enter "Misc. Instructions/Additional Special Instructions"
We are only able to type so much info under "origin" and so much for "destination". Can we add another column to enter "Additional Special Instructions" , this would print on the bottom of the BOL .

Include order and invoice number in both cash receipts and payment management
When entering items in cash receipts, it only list invoice number. When items are moved to payment management it only lists the order number. If something prevents the receipt from being applied in cash receipts, it does not bring payment over matched to the receipt. the user is then forced to use payment management to apply and look up all the invoice numbers,

Change the description of a Cash Receipt in Dynamics GP Order Inquiry
Before our upgrade, we were able to see why type of cash receipt had been applied to an order...Ex..Credit card, check. This made finding that cash receipt very easy. After the upgrade, all the description says is "Cash Receipt" with the cash receipt #. You can look it up this way, but its just another step in finding the payment and seeing how it was applied. Going back to the way it was would be more efficient.

Allow "Hauling Documents Received" Date as a Dependency Date for Tasks
Reasoning behind this would be that when the hauling documents are received, a task would prompt the revenue processor assigned to the order to process the shipment (Scan docs to corporate, book revenue, close order.)

Let me know if you think this is a better solution than adding the Hauling Documents Received Date.

Allow Van Line Statements to Apply to the Order
We would like to be able to import a statement and apply it directly to an order to the default customer ID without touching all of the transacitons,

Default Customer ID on Unapplied amount
In Payment Management when applying a payment as an unapplied amount, change the default customer ID to the default customer ID on the order. Being a dual agent, its a very cumbersome process to apply a statement. When an Allied registered order is paid on a North American statement, it requires you to change the customer ID for unapplied amounts otherwise a transfer is necessary. Touching hundreds of transactions is tough enough and this would help a great deal.
